On the softer side, this level gives the sleeper a soft top for flexibility during rest. If you spend a lot of time on the couch, you would enjoy a soft mattress in this category. A sign that you might prefer this comfort level is if you tend to use "egg crate"-style mattress pads or feather beds on top of your mattress. You don’t go to any extremes, but softness is important.
